Mandated CPR Training for Everyone?

Here at Aureus Medical Group, our employees are required to hold and maintain a CPR certification. However, should receiving this certification be only limited to medical providers?

An article found in “Livewell Nebraska” addresses a story about a grieving mother who lost her son after he collapsed and died from a lethal heart arrhythmia while surrounded by friends. While one friend ran to call 911, the other stayed. Unfortunately, that individual was not trained in CPR.

Healthy Eating on the Road

I recently returned from a whirlwind trip lasting a couple of days and I could not feel any worse. Ok, perhaps this is an exaggeration because if I think of the grand scheme of things I’m really doing pretty well. However, the struggle to eat healthy while on my trip was great and I will admit I succumbed to the temptations of high fat and sugar laden meals.
