Safe Summer Fun

Truly one of the best advantages of doing locum tenens is the opportunity to visit and see many different corners of this great country. There are endless opportunities to explore new cities and landmarks as you embark on each new assignment. With all of your free time being spent on road trips, hiking, walking the city, surfing, and much more, take precaution to protect your skin over the summer months. Below is a list of things to keep yourself from getting burned:

1) Sunscreen – This is an obvious one, but make sure you choose the correct SPF and reapply regularly.

2) Accessorize – Wear sunglasses and hats whenever outside for additional protection.

3) Shade – When enjoying a nice picnic in the park, choose the table under a tree.

4) Clothes – Even though you spent all winter shaping your six-pack, keep a shirt on to protect yourself from harmful UV rays.

5) Happy Hours – Avoid peak hours of sun and heat and relax indoors.
