Travel Healthcare Employees of the Quarter

Aureus Medical is happy to announce its travel healthcare Travel Employees of the Quarter. Employees are nominated by their Account Managers each quarter. The winners will then be included in the Employee of the Year nominations. Congratulations to all!

Tamara Whitehouse, EEG Technician
Tamara has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Cardiopulmonary and Allied Health Division of Aureus Medical Group. Tammy has been working with Aureus consistently since April 2015. She is currently on her fifth assignment and has extended at every assignment so far. During her tenure at Aureus, she has worked at three facilities and two of those have requested her back. She is known for being a very loyal and hard-working employee. Tamara has a very unique ability to make friends and fit in with every department. She truly is a great representation of Aureus and everyone appreciates everything that she does.

Deanna Coccia, Sonographer
Deanna has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Deanna came as a referral with only 15 months of experience. Seven (going on eight) assignments later, she has proven herself to be an extremely valuable employee. Some of the comments from her previous assignments include, “She is the type of sonographer that you want on your permanent staff”, “Deanna has been wonderful. She is the type of sonographer that you want to have working in your department. We would easily hire her for a permanent position if she was interested,” and “Deanna was such a great addition to our department. She fit right in all around. Wish that we could have kept her here permanently.” In addition to representing Aureus so well, she helped secure housing for another brand new Aureus traveler taking an assignment in her home town. Deanna is always willing to help out where she can and is always a pleasure to work with.

Bridgett Barnett, Medical Laboratory Technician
Bridgett has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. Bridgett has been traveling with Aureus for seven years. She not only brings a solid knowledge base to the industry and travel lifestyle, but also a personality that is contagious! She is so great to work with from an Account Manager standpoint but also at the facilities. Being requested back to facilities on more than one occasion, Bridgett often extends her assignments multiple times. She is hard working, personable, flexible, and humble to the facility and their needs. Bridgett is a diamond in the rough and we are proud to have her representing the Aureus name.

Andrea Bailey, Physical Therapist
Andrea has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Rehabilitation Therapy Division of Aureus Medical Group. Andrea has been with Aureus for five years and has successfully completed a total of 13 consecutive assignments during that time! The employees at the client facilities love her and she has received many offers to extend her assignments and even to stay on as a permanent employee. Account managers also love working with her and have confidence in her ability to shine on assignment. She represents Aureus well and helps to mentor other therapists while on assignment. We are thankful to have Andrea as a loyal Aureus traveler!

Helen Linderman, RN (Medical-Surgical)
Helen has been awarded the honor of being one of the Employees of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Helen has traveled with Aureus for 19 assignments since June 2008. She has been nothing shy of amazing. Some comments from her evaluations include: “Helen is a model traveling nurse. She can do most anything that is asked of her, yet is good at communicating when she feels there is something she hasn’t done in some time. She worked amazingly with all of the staff in the hospital. She worked well on our team. We would have her back anytime.” and “Helen is exceptional, she is willing to assist newer staff with educational needs by running through patient scenarios. She is always willing to share her professional knowledge.” She is a true asset to Aureus.

Helen McCue, RN (Medical-Surgical)
Helen has been awarded the honor of being one of the Employees of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Helen has been traveling with Aureus since 2010 and is on her ninth assignment. Helen not only is a great employee on the job but she has also demonstrated true loyalty to our company. She is the most patient nurse, follows through with her promises, and always maintains a positive attitude at all times. She is flexible with anything that is thrown her way and never says anything negative about any situation or anybody. Previous managers have said, “Helen is very trusted by managers and staff alike, Helen is very kind and approachable.” and “Helen is very well liked by staff and managers. We wish we could have her as a permanent employee!” We feel honored that she chooses Aureus to represent her as a traveling nurse.
