Recovering from Boards?

Did studying for your DPT exam get you feeling a certain way? Having trouble getting back to your normal way of life before the hours of studying and practice exams took control of you? Here are a few things you can do to get your life back on track.

  • Binge watch all the shows you’ve been missing. All those late nights with your nose in your textbook are over. It’s time to catch up on what’s going on with your favorite shows. Not to mention, Netflix just rolled out their new movie and TV show lineup last month.
  • Retail therapy. Sometimes the best way to get over something traumatic is to buy yourself a new wardrobe. With summer right around the corner, you’re going to enjoy those barbecues and pool parties with your new attire. It’s a win-win!
  • Eat your feelings. Like a bad day at work, sometimes the best way to feel better is to eat some of your favorite meals. Who cares about the calories! They don’t count right now. It’s time to heal the soul with pizza and ice cream.
  • Sleep. All those hours of studying and late night cramming has left you missing your bed. Now it’s your time to rest. Go to bed at 8:00 pm and sleep in until noon. You’ve earned it!

Remember all of your had work these past few years was worth it, but now is your time to relax a bit before you start your new career.  Have a great week and good luck!
