Brianna S., EEG Tech
Brianna has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Cardiopulmonary and Allied Health Division of Aureus Medical Group. She is currently on her sixth consecutive assignment with Aureus since starting in September 2011. She has been quoted by managers in her evaluations as being one of the best EEG Techs they have ever seen. Her last manager said, “Brianna is a very motivated individual. She is able to determine what needs to be done throughout the day without prompting. She is efficient in her work without compromising the integrity of her recording. She genuinely enjoys working with the patients and is able to make patients feel comfortable with their testing.” We are honored to have such an outstanding Tech working for Aureus Medical.

Diane R., Sonographer
Diane has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Diane has always been a faithful Aureus employee. She went on this last assignment with the intentions of staying just two weeks to help them out in a pinch. However, she now has extended for Aureus until the end of July with a good chance of staying until the end of August, turning a two-week assignment into 20 weeks! They absolutely love Diane and her sense of humor. She is always willing to work overtime and takes as much call as they need. On top of it all, she saved a baby! She found something on an ultrasound that had been overlooked many times. Because of Diane the baby will be just fine. Diane is a pleasure to work with and a devoted and diligent tech who is very knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated to her field. We are proud to have her on the Aureus team.

Amy R., Medical Technologist
Amy has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. Amy started traveling with Aureus in 2007 and is the true definition of a flexible, dedicated traveler. Since 2011, one of our clients has had consistent staffing needs. They would regularly request Amy to extend or come back after another assignment had ended. Putting her desires to travel to other locations aside and knowing their need for help, she’s agreed to go back and work there three different times. She recently just extended her six-month contract for another six months. Included on one of her evaluations was, “Another excellent year Amy! Thank you for your consistency, you willingness, and your hard work!” We are lucky to have such an outstanding person working for Aureus Medical.

Charles M., RN (ICU)
Charles (Chuck) has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Chuck is a famous name around Aureus. As an employee since 2003, he has always demonstrated professionalism and accountability on his assignments. He is a perfect example of what an Aureus employee should be: dedicated, loyal, and superb with patients, staff, and management. His assignment evaluations are consistently rated in the 4s and 5s. When you look at the length of his assignments, you can see that most of the time he is asked to extend when on contract. All of his account managers say that he has amazing communication skills, is flexible and understanding, and always completes whatever is asked of him in a timely manner. No matter what is going on, Chuck is always cheerful and puts a fabulous face to the Aureus name. We are proud to have Chuck as part of the Aureus team!

Dana S., Physical Therapist
Dana has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Rehabilitation Therapy Division of Aureus Medical Group. She is on her third assignment with Aureus and has been a standout employee since day one. From the day she was offered the position in Hawaii she went above and beyond to try to ensure she had all the necessary equipment and knowledge for her new position. She has worked for the same client in Kona, Oahu, and is now beginning her journey on the Island of Maui. During her time at her different facilities she has been asked to float to neighboring islands, not only during normal business hours but many times requiring a 5 a.m. flight time only to return to her home island much later in the evening, thus ensuring a 12-14 hour long work day. She always volunteers her time at other clinics even when it requires taking time out of her personal life to do so. She has been asked to stay as a permanent employee not only at each clinic where she is assigned but each clinic where she floats. Her coworkers and clients have indicated that she “radiates life and truly embodies the spirit of Aloha throughout her therapy” and “she is an outstanding asset to any environment she is in and motivates those around her to better themselves.” Dana has an energy and aura that is unlike any other therapist. She devotes her free time to volunteer with a company called Access Surf which provides therapeutic education programs to the people of the Islands in introduction to water-based activities and water therapy. She also submerses herself in the culture of each individual island and on any given evening you can find her doing yoga in the park as well as on top of some of the highest mountains in Hawaii. She now belongs to a myriad of local hiking, surfing, and rowing teams in the area. We truly appreciate all that she does both while working as well as outside of work to be such an exceptional asset to the Aureus Medical Therapy Team.
