"It's a lot of backs and knees," owner Rebecca Lewis told the news source, also noting the past decade of business has seen her offer the assistance to cats as well. She started working as a veterinary technician but she never let go of her passion to aid animals "achieve quality of life with non-invasive techniques."

Her credentials include canine physical rehabilitation and her patients hail from two California counties – Monterey and Santa Cruz.

The median pay for physical therapists two years ago was more than $76,000 per year, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
