Before You Leave on Assignment

Before you leave for a travel assignment, not only do you have to worry about getting all your compliance completed, but you also have to figure out what you should bring with you. My best advice, first and foremost, is to bring as much as you can, because it is better to be safe than sorry.

Knowing the answers to these questions first will help you transition to your next assignment. It will also help with knowing what to throw in the suitcase and what to leave at home.  How long is your assignment? Do you need to pack for a 4-week or 13-week assignment? You can also plan accordingly for a possible extension.

What will be provided at your housing?
Where is the nearest grocery store?
How do I handle my bills will on assignment?
What if I plan on driving to my assignment?

Hopefully the above list will help serve as a reminder for things to remember before you leave for your travel assignment. As always, if you have questions about how to prepare for your trip or what to bring, reach out to your Account Manager!
