How We All Work Together

When taking a travel assignment, you will work with a variety of individuals who will aide in your success. However, it is important to know why they all work together and how you can help make the process smooth.

Recruiter

The first point of contact you will have with your agency is with a Recruiter. Your recruiter will get to know you, help put your best foot forward and submit you for open opportunities that match your criteria. Open communication is key when working with your recruiter. You can read more about this here.

Account Manager

When considering an assignment, you may also be in contact with an Account Manager. Our account managers specialize in working directly with the facilities that we have open positions in. If you were to take the assignment, the account manager would become a primary point of contact for you through the duration of the contract. Similar to your relationship with the recruiter, having strong communication with the account manager will be important, as they will be able to answer position and facility specific questions.

Facility

Once submitted to a new assignment, the account manager will arrange for your first interaction with the Facility. For many, this first interaction is through a phone interview. To feel the most confident and prepared for the conversation, check out these tips in one of our other blogs.

Backgrounds, Verifications, Compliance

Hooray! You have been offered and accepted a position and you will now be introduced to our support teams of Backgrounds, Verifications, and Compliance. Although it can be tedious working with so many individuals, here at Aureus Medical we are committed to compliance and providing the best patient care. A large portion of meeting compliance is with state licenses and certifications. Read about staying up to date and proactive with licensure.

Housing

The final step of becoming ready for your upcoming adventure is determining where you will be staying with Housing. Aureus Medical does have a sister company, AurHomes, which aides in finding short-term housing options for our travelers. You can read more about this option here. Of course, our travelers can also choose to find their own housing arrangements by using the housing stipend provided for the assignment.

Having an idea of who will be working for you when taking your next assignment will help with a smooth onboarding process. What questions do you have about working with Aureus Medical? Give us a call; we would love to talk with you!
