For the months of October through March, making money is easy in the state of California. Census, snowbirds, and flu season all drive bill rates into crisis mode, up to $20-30/hour in some cases. There is an EMR conversion happening in Bakersfield, California – just two short hours north of Los Angeles, and two hours from the Beach. Start dates pick up in June and will run through August, with start dates every week. Contracts will run into December and extra OT shifts will be available to work each week. If you applied for your California license prior to March 1, 2016, you will be considered for the positions even though you do not have your California license in hand. California license processing is taking 10-12 weeks on average at this time.
