George is a true asset to Aureus Medical Group.

Ila McLaughlin, Medical Laboratory Technician

Ila has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. Ila has completed five assignments with Aureus and is truly an advocate for our company. Not only does she have the most positive and bubbly personality, she also leaves a lasting impression at every hospital she works. She also has a heart of gold and has been a complete joy to work with since day one. An evaluation from a client stated, “Ila was an amazing traveler; I wish she could have extended her stay with us. We wish her all the best in her travels and hope that she will accept any offers from us in the future.” We can’t say enough wonderful things about her!

Chad Magilke, Occupational Therapist Assistant

Chad has been traveling with Aureus since 2006 and has worked 28 assignments! He has traveled to 14 states on his adventures. He loves to meet new people and explore his surroundings wherever he goes. Chad consistently receives high scores on his evaluations and is repeatedly asked back to facilities. He is very ethical and always willing to help out. He loves to educate others about his field, as well as great places to visit and things to do. We are extremely lucky to have Chad as part of the Aureus team!

Natasha Stevens, RN (Stepdown)

The Nursing division of Aureus Medical Group awarded Natasha the honor of being one of the Employees of the Quarter. Natasha started her traveling career with Aureus in January 2016 and has never traveled with anyone else. She is currently on her ninth assignment and has been amazing to work with. She does an amazing job preparing for each assignment, as well as while on assignment and is always on top of compliance and takes the initiative getting everything completed early so we don’t have to scramble before her assignment starts. Natasha has also been a great communicator. If she is available she always answers our phone calls and if she’s working she will always call us back when she can. She is always a positive person and a joy to talk to.

Her Account Manager says, “She has been one of the best nurses I’ve ever worked with.” One of her client evaluations stated, “Natasha was a pleasure to have on our unit. She has a great attitude, good team player, and excellent communicator. We would love to have her back in the future.”

Jody Prestine, RN (Telemetry)

Jody earned the honor of being one of the Employees of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Jody has worked with us consistently for the last seven years on eight contracts. She works on very tough units and many people consider her the leader of the units even though she’s not part of the permanent staff. Her experience, compassion, and dedication to her profession are undeniable. She rarely takes time off, even coming in after her area received 18 inches of snow! Jody has been a very active participant on our social media platforms, even writing a blog for us! Some comments on her appraisals include:

  • She is the type of employee you want on your team. Great attitude and exceptional skills.
  • Jody is a great worker! She is reliable and gets done what needs to be done for her patients. She gets along with everyone and we really liked having her!
  • Jody is very accommodating. She will come in and cover shifts or stay late if needed.
