Beverly B., Respiratory Therapist
Beverly has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Cardiopulmonary and Allied Health Division of Aureus Medical Group. She is a revered cardiopulmonary professional and we have been honored to work with her for ten years. In total Beverly has completed 26 assignments for Aureus Medical in ten different states (CA, ND, WI, TX, CO, HI, NC, SD, IN and PA). Beverly is always asked to extend her assignment by our client facilities and when she is ready to leave, they often give her a very special send off.
Beverly’s personality is easy going, fun loving, energetic, reliable, trustworthy, and she is completely dedicated to her patients. It’s no wonder our clients never want her to leave. Beverly has become like family to all of us.
Sal T., Cath Lab/IR Tech
Sal has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Sal began working for Aureus in February 2013 and is on his eighth assignment. He frequently stays for at least one extension and has stayed close to a full year on two assignments. Everywhere he goes the facility loves him and wants him to stay. Sal is committed to representing Aureus in a professional, positive matter and helps train new travelers that replace him when his contract is finished. At his most recent assignment in Massachusetts, he had an evaluation state, “Outstanding Cath Lab RT. He integrated into the Cath Lab quickly and effortlessly. Sal’s clinical skills were excellent and his personal and professional interactions with staff and physicians gained him immediate acceptance.” Another evaluation from a different contract said, “Sal is an absolute delight. His skill set is excellent and his attitude and work ethic is outstanding.” Sal is truly an asset to the Aureus team and we are lucky to work with him!
Karly L., Medical Technologist
Karly has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. Karly is currently on her fifth assignment with Aureus, traveling for just over a year and a half. She’s notorious among her laboratory mangers for her good-natured demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to roll with the punches. She’s adaptable and isn’t scared of challenges in the laboratory. Karly is dedicated to her work and loves finding her next big adventure while on assignment. She picks up call and overtime to help out in the lab as needed.
Her assignment evaluations have been overwhelmingly positive stating, “Karly was very dependable exampled by outstanding attendance,” “Very bright – caught on quickly and did a great job!” “Well liked by all staff and leadership…she was pleasant and very cooperative,” and “Overall, outstanding performance. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication.” Karly is devoted to excellent patient care and to the laboratory overall. She’s an amazing traveling technologist and she truly represents everything that Aureus has to offer while on assignment.
Wendy W., RN (Med-Surg)
Wendy has been awarded the honor of being one of the Employees of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Wendy just started her 10th travel assignment with Aureus and has extended at most assignments. She is the type of nurse we can always count on to do an exceptional job. She has been on some tough assignments and there have been unexpected situations of higher patient ratios and staffing changes, but Wendy has always maintained a professional manner. She has a true love for nursing and always strives to the put her patients first. Her assignment appraisals always receive “Above Expectations” and “Outstanding” ratings. Wendy has not only received positive accolades from assignment managers, but also permanent staff members. A former assignment manager commented, “Patients loved Wendy, I always received positive feedback when rounding on patients when Wendy was their primary RN”.
Michele P., RN (Stepdown)
Michele has been awarded the honor of being one of the Employees of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Michele is a fantastic nurse and has worked 13 assignments with Aureus since 2005. Some comments from her appraisals include, “It was a pleasure working with Michele. My staff appreciated her hard work and conscientious attitude. I would hire her back quickly” and “Staff reported Michele as being very supportive, a team player willing to come and assist others. Great attitude.”
A family member of a patient sent this note about Michele: “How can my family notify your company about the OUTSTANDING care one of your nurses gave our family and patient during the time he was in the hospital? He passed on her shift. I only have her first name. It is Michele. She was so wonderful and compassionate to the family. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was on the same page as Bob’s condition deteriorated. She treated the patient (Bob) with such tenderness.”
Mary G., Physical Therapist
Mary has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Rehabilitation Therapy Division of Aureus Medical Group. Mary has been working for Aureus since October 2013. She has received multiple offers to extend her assignments throughout her career. This is a testament to her skills as a therapist and her wonderful personality. She has extended for almost a full year on her two most recent assignments which illustrates her commitment to the facility where she is placed. Mary is great to work with and we are thankful to have the pleasure of working with her as a top-notch Aureus traveler!
