19 assignments: Tuba City, AZ; West Grove, PA; Cleveland, OH; Romney, WV; Baker City, OR; Denison, IA; Dowagiac,MI (twice) ; Thomaston, GA; Carrollton, KY; Pennington, NJ; Redmond, OR (twice); Sheridan, WY; Bennington, VT; WaKeeney, KS; Fort Kent, ME; Augusta, ME and Laconia, NH.

Out of all of your travel assignments, which assignment has been your favorite and why?
I can find something positive about all my assignments, but my favorites have been in Oregon and Cleveland. I love how much Oregon reminds me of my home state of Maine and how much of it focuses on outdoor activities. In Cleveland, I loved visiting all the museums, going to baseball games, and the food scene is incredible.

What is your favorite memory from traveling?
Crossing the number one thing off my bucket list-visiting all 50 states!

I started with Aureus in August 2010. I have been with Aureus for my entire traveling career.

Why did you choose to travel with Aureus Medical?
I had met a couple of people who worked for them and was told they were the most helpful when it came to first-time travelers.

What is your favorite feature of Aureus Medical?
I like how I can have a good relationship with my account managers. I can talk to them about anything.

medical laboratory 3What is one piece of advice you would give an individual who is interested in traveling?
Make sure you are comfortable with yourself. Your journey will be made easier if you are outgoing. But, it starts with being able to embrace alone time. Taking as many opportunities as possible is one of the best parts of traveling, whether it is seeing new places, learning new things at the hospital, or just checking something off your bucket list.

When looking for companies to travel with, what do you feel is the most important feature to look for?
A company that makes you feel comfortable and listens to the needs that you have.
