It’s officially Occupational Therapy Month! Every April, we take a step back to celebrate all of the Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants making a difference in so many lives. The importance of the OT profession cannot be expressed enough, from helping patients gain back everyday abilities to bringing smiles to their families’ faces as they watch a loved one grow. They truly are one of a kind.
It takes a special kind of person to focus their life on helping others. Every day, OTs and COTAs spend their time helping people grow as a person and overcome obstacles. Whether it’s helping a child obtaining everyday abilities in the classroom or providing the elderly with skills to complete tasks throughout the household, the difference they make is one of a kind.
We truly appreciate all of the hard work and sacrifice from those in the Occupational Therapy profession. We take this month to say THANK YOU!
