Since 1982, when President Ronald Regan first proclaimed National Respiratory Care Week, the healthcare industry and employers alike have been recognizing Respiratory Therapists for their contribution to the healthcare industry, along with the society we live in.
Respiratory Therapists interview and examine patients, consult with physicians to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests and treat patients. Respiratory Therapists are often required to make life and death decisions. Here at the Aureus Medical Group, we are inspired by our contract partners who work in the respiratory care field.
