Elves of Aureus Medical Spread Holiday Cheer

The elves of Aureus Medical were extremely busy this season, continuing the annual tradition of giving back to the community by helping children, families, and senior citizens throughout the Holidays.

The Aureus Medical spirit was at its peak as teams and departments worked together to fulfill needs, instill hope, spread cheer, and lend a hand. The generosity of employees companywide – gifts, time, monetary contributions, and other efforts – was truly extraordinary.

C&A Walks for NAMI

AurElves Provide Holiday Cheer

During the holiday season of giving, we as a company try to reach out to our community and help those less fortunate than us. AurElves volunteer and raise donations of toys, clothes, and toiletries for different organizations and families in the effort to keep the spirit of the season alive. It’s no surprise that AurElves has touched the lives of many who are facing personal difficulties, challenges, and struggles this holiday season. We want to share some of the cheer that was spread as AurElves made their stops across the Omaha metro area.

There was a lot of ducking and weaving on Saturday, April 4th at the first annual “Ducking and Dodging for a Cure” co-ed dodgeball tournament. The event, organized by employees in Aureus Medical Group, was a huge success!  A total of 13 teams participated, raising more than $1,000 for Camp Quality Heartland.

A Trip of a Lifetime

Stephanie Ahlmann, a Staffing Coordinator/Background & Reference Specialist in the Aureus Medical Group Nursing division, recently visited Thailand to catch up with her relatives whom she has only met a few times. In honor of her trip, Stephanie wanted to do something special for her family, so she made arrangements to donate a laptop computer to her nephew’s 6th grade English classroom. In the spirit of giving, the Aureus Medical Group Nursing Admin team organized a fundraising breakfast in early January to help Stephanie purchase the computer. Stephanie tells us in her own words about her adventure and the culture of this third world country.
