Teresa has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Cardiopulmonary Division of Aureus Medical Group. Teresa has worked for Aureus since 2007 and is currently on her 10^th assignment. She is a hard-working Sleep Tech and has been requested back by several previous clients. Her current manager said that she is “one of the best Sleep Techs” he has ever seen in the field. Teresa was asked to be our Sleep Clinical Consultant in 2010 and has done a phenomenal job as our representative. Aureus is very proud to have her as one of our employees!

Annie A., CT/X-Ray Technologist
Annie has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Annie has worked for Aureus since 2004 and completed over 23 assignments. She is such a hard worker, putting in over 45 hours a week and working the overnight shifts. Our hospitals adore her and have provided only glowing evaluations. Annie is the epitome of a model traveler!

Daphne P., Medical Technologist
Daphne has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. Daphne has worked for Aureus for over three years and completed many assignments. She is a wonderful representation of our company with her attitude and work ethic.  She handles working in the busiest labs with a smile on her face.  Once client even requested her back around Christmas as they considered her family and wanted to make sure she was there for the holiday party. We are truly lucky to have Daphne as part of the Aureus Medical team!

Kimberly P., RN (ICU)
Kimberly has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Kim has worked for Aureus since 2007 and has completed 10 assignments during that time. She is consistently asked to extend at our facilities, in addition to being asked to return year after year to seasonal hospitals. Some positive comments made on her behalf by Kim’s managers include, “outstanding”, “great to work with”, “very pleasant and helpful”, “great nurse and very dependable”, “great people skills”, and “an asset to your company.” She is a pleasure to work with over the phone and her patients are fortunate to be able to receive her care in person. Jennifer D., Physical Therapist
Jennifer has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Rehabilitation Therapy Division of Aureus Medical Group. Jennifer has worked with Aureus for over three years and is on her 6^th consecutive assignment with us. She has been at her current assignment for over a year. She demonstrates dependability, reliability, and flexibility and goes above and beyond in every situation she is presented with. Jennifer has been a standout employee and has set a standard for exceptional patient care. One of her reviews stated, “I have received outstanding feedback from several patients/family members on her clinical skills and rapport with our patients. She has also been requested by name by patients and family members.” Jennifer is a shining example of an outstanding employee and one we are proud to have representing Aureus Medical.

Zella has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Advanced Practice Division of Aureus Medical Group. Zella is a very experience NP and has worked at her current assignment since December 2010.  This client continually asks for her to extend. Working with a variety of mental health illnesses, she is always friendly and professional with patients and families. Aureus is very thankful for all the hard work and dedication Zella puts into her career.

Juli has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Cardiopulmonary Division of Aureus Medical Group. Juli has worked seven assignments with Aureus over two and a half years. She has successfully completed all of her assignments with extremely high marks by all of her employers. She has had multiple perfect scores on her evaluations by client facilities. On her last two assignments, the clients have asked for Juli to stay on full-time. She is a true asset to Aureus Medical.

Heidi has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Heidi started in 2007 and is currently on her 7th assignment for Aureus. This included a one year assignment in California. One client has said, “If I could clone Heidi and have more of her, I would love it”. To each new assignment, Heidi brings with her a vast knowledge and dedication to the cath lab and her patients, always striving to do the very best she can with a smile on her face. She is a model traveler that signifies everything Aureus stands for.

Deb has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. Deb has completed six assignments for Aureus Medical. She has received outstanding reviews on every one of them. We often get called from our clients a couple days after Deb arrives stating she has been a blessing to the lab department and just what they needed. With her positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile, her evaluations are always outstanding. We are truly lucky to have Deb as part of the Aureus Medical team!

She has been asked to return by several clients, but is usually booked several months in advance. She truly cares about her job and her patients, going above and beyond with every assignment. She is currently on her 6^th assignment and has been offered to extend multiple times while on assignment. She consistently earns high praise from her onsite supervisors for flexibility, ethics and dependability. She distinguishes herself from other travelers in the field by being extremely flexible when considering assignments and is willing to take on challenges from which others shy away, including difficult-to-staff locations. As an employee Angela is always happy, cheerful and is an overall joy to work with. She represents all the amazing things that Aureus has to offer, and is a phenomenal ambassador for us in the field.

Gerry has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Advanced Practice Division of Aureus Medical Group. Gerry has been working with Aureus Medical for over a year.   During this time he’s worked in some very remote settings.  He is always able to find the best in every situation.  At each assignment, the clients have asked him to extend or stay on full-time. He’s even recruited his wife, who is an RN, to come travel with us as well. On Gerry’s latest assignment they have asked him to come back multiple times due to his great patient care and flexibility with his schedule.  Aureus is very thankful for all the hard work and dedication Gerry puts into his work and his patients.

Norma began her travels five years ago and has since been in demand and valued wherever she goes.  Her supervisors have said of Norma that she is simply outstanding, is there to help in any situation, and is the kind of employee everyone looks for.  She says working in various sized hospitals and learning new instrumentations keep her career exciting.  And knowing that her work has a direct influence on how a patient is medically treated, her responsibility to the patient always comes first. No matter where her assignments take her, she’s an advocate for her field.  On the job, she participates in health fairs and enthusiastically promotes Medical Laboratory Week to those across the hospital organization.  Norma is a true asset to Aureus and the facilities she works in.  Congratulations, Norma!

Tia R., Surgical Technologist
Tia has been traveling for four years, three of which have been spent in the same facility.  Her supervisors think so highly of her, they continue to extend her contract.  As the connection between physicians, OR staff, and case managers, Tia keeps the OR schedule flowing. Her supervisors at the hospital say she is so beneficial to them, they view her as a seamless, full-time member of their team who sees the big picture, not just the pieces.  Her Account Manager calls her a standout employee who is always kind, energetic, and goes above and beyond in the workplace.  Tia says the challenges and pressures that come with her role keep each day exciting and the rewards are immensely fulfilling.  We feel priveleged to work alongside someone like Tia. Congratulations, Tia!

Melinda has been traveling with Aureus for nearly two years.  As an NDT certified Occupational Therapist, helping others is her passion.  Her vast experience and skills are equaled by her patience, kindness, and gentle nature.  She’s a therapist who transforms lives from assignment to assignment and who makes positive contributions to the inner workings of OT departments – providing mentorship and educating teams. One department director called her a “gold mine” and “a great teacher”.  Another commented that she goes above and beyond for her patients, regardless of changes in caseload and hours.  Yet another called her a wonderful addition to their team. Melinda is an amazing example of an Aureus employee.  Congratulations, Melinda!

Kym has been working in the imaging field for over 30 years and has traveled for the past 11 years.  Her supervisors praise her skills, her positive attitude, and how she goes out of her way to get to know her co-workers.  One summed it up by saying, “Kym is absolutely the best.” Kym believes there is always something new she can learn from others, yet she’s generous in sharing her knowledge and years of experience.  After three decades in her field, no day is ever dull and she still finds it fascinating.  She knows that helping people, through her work is what she was meant to do.  We are proud to have Kym represent us on assignments. Stephanie has been working in the field of Respiratory Therapy for more than 30 years and has traveled for 8 of them.  Her supervisors remark on her positive outlook, her great personality, and the way she connects with her colleagues.  She steps in, pitches in, and goes the extra mile, always with a smile on her face and a spring in her step.  After three decades in her profession, she says her biggest rewards come from seeing the progress of her patients and the daily strides they make toward recovery.  She knows she’s had a hand in that and it makes it all worthwhile.  We are truly lucky to have Stephanie represent Aureus.  Congratulations, Stephanie!

Darrell has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Cardiopulmonary Division of Aureus Medical Group. Darrell has worked for Aureus since 2007 and has completed 10 assignments. He is always extended at each assignment. He is very knowledgeable, dependable, and easy to get along with. Along with his excellent RT skills, he is always referring others to work for Aureus and currently has several of his referrals working now. Saw Lan A., General/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist
Saw Lan has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Saw Lan has worked for Aureus since December 2008. At her current assignment, she has become a great addition to the team. She works hard to help in any area needed, including teaming up with staff from the facility’s fitness center to help with a “Biggest Loser” competition. She helped train and motivate a team to run a 5K! Facilities continue to ask for Saw Lan back because of her upbeat personality, strong work ethic, and her ability to fit in wherever she goes. She is a walking billboard of the quality and caliber of employee that Aureus strives for.

We can always count on Kathy to show up to her next assignment with a smile on her face and ready to jump in and help the client in any way she can. Yolanda B., RN (NICU)
Yolanda has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Yolanda has worked several assignments for us over the last seven years. At her current assignment, she was only there for two weeks before the CNO requested she be extended another 13 weeks. She is always willing to help out, often floating to other areas of the OB unit. There have been times when the facility suddenly needed help in the middle of the night and Yolanda will come in to help out, even if it is only for a few hours. That’s the true definition of a team player! We are grateful to have Yolanda as part of the Aureus Medical team.

Cheryl has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Rehab Therapy Division of Aureus Medical Group. Cheryl works as an Occupational Therapist Assistant and is on her 5^th assignment in the last two years. Despite some challenging times, she never ceases to have a positive attitude. She is also the epitome of loyalty, handing out our contact information to coworkers who are interested in a change of scenery. Cheryl is very flexible and understanding of the give and take of contract work. She goes above and beyond on each assignment. We are truly lucky to have her working for Aureus.

Kathleen has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Advanced Practice Division of Aureus Medical Group. Kathy has been traveling with Aureus since 2008. She has worked assignments in California, Minnesota, Arizona, South Carolina, and Nebraska. She has walked into some tough assignments and handled them with the upmost professionalism and grace. A previous employer said, “As always Kathleen was very reliable and a pleasure to have at the clinics again. She is an excellent practitioner.” Kathy travels with her husband, Al, who also deserves a little recognition! Aureus is lucky to have an employee like Kathy!

Amy M., Respiratory Therapist
Amy has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Cardiopulmonary Division of Aureus Medical Group. Amy has worked eight assignments for Aureus over the past three years. Every manager she has worked with has been very complimentary of her and said that if they have another need, she would be their first call. She has invested in 15 state licenses and has all of the certifications possible in order to make herself more marketable. Her excellent attitude helps her stand out from the crowd. We are lucky to have Amy as a part of the Aureus Medical team!

Kymberly has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. She has worked over 3,700 hours for Aureus. A supervisor at her current assignment said, “She is the best. She gets along with everyone.” With her friendly smile, she gets along with everyone and works to get to know all of her coworkers. She’s even teaching a sonographer of 30 years a few new things! Kymberly is a true asset and we are proud to have her as a part of the Aureus Medical team.

Kellianne has worked 12 assignments for us and is an excellent representative for Aureus. She takes pride in her work and is flexible and understanding to what the client requests and needs. .  The clients rave about her ability to get along with the current staff and train extraordinarily fast. At her current assignment, Sarah has been working at a lead OT which is a testament to her leadership, strong clinical skills, and dedication to her patients. She has been in Arizona, Wisconsin (in the winter!), and North Dakota. One manager commented on her evaluation, “We appreciated her very much and would love to have her come back sometime. She is a wonderful asset to any organization!” At every assignment, the staff have loved her and thrown her a going-away party. She is currently scheduled on assignments through mid-November and even has facilities asking for her then. Dietta is a true professional and Aureus is lucky to have her representing us.

Stephanie is always willing to step in and help out when we are in need of a unique therapist and does it with a smile on her face. She truly has one of the best personalities and her bonding skills are what make her an outstanding Respiratory Therapist. During Respiratory Care Week, Stephanie took it upon herself to go out and buy candy and other items to make all of the RTs feel appreciated. She’s an outstanding member of the Aureus Medical team.

Karen is on her 8^th assignment with Aureus, has worked over 4,100 hours, and has been asked to extend at her last two assignments. One client says that she is “a stable force in the department who is always willing to go above and beyond each day.” Karen takes the time to help students but is also willing to learn from them! Recently, she received an appraisal award from the facility where she is currently working. Karen is a true asset to the Aureus Medical team.

Norma has worked six assignments for Aureus and has received rave reviews on all of them. She goes above and beyond on each assignment. Every client has asked her to stay on a full-time basis and are sad to see her leave when her contract is finished. Norma is flexible with where she wants to go, making it easier to find jobs for her. She is a top notch employee and we are lucky to have her work for Aureus.

Erin has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Erin has worked with Aureus since 2009. She is always in a great mood and her sparkling personality always shines through in her work performance. She is on her 2^nd stint at her current assignment. The client requested her to come back to help out over the winter months due to her exceptional work during the fall of 2009. Erin’s Account Manager says, “From day one, she has been absolutely wonderful to work with.” She is a shining star for Aureus Medical and we are lucky to have her working for us.

Kevin M., Occupational Therapist
Kevin has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Rehab Therapy Division of Aureus Medical Group. He has logged over 3,000 hours with Aureus on five separate assignments. His sole focus is the betterment of the patient and he approaches each assignment with the attitude that he is there to help out however possible. On occasion, while on assignment, Kevin has had to deal with several obstacles, both personal and work related. He has not only dealt with these obstacles with the utmost professionalism, but has also collaborated with the facilities to find the best workable solutions. Kevin always goes above and beyond on each contract. He is the epitome of a team player.

Deborah has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Advanced Practice Division of Aureus Medical Group. Dee has been working at her current assignment since June 2010, where she has done wonders for the clinic. She has taken a leadership role among her coworkers, implementing practices from books such as The Oz Principle and The Carrot Principle. Dee’s patients love her because she goes above and beyond for each one of them. She has even created over 500 handmade cards for her patients! Dee is an amazing employee and a role model for all.

Dean is on his 11th assignment with Aureus and to say that he is loved wherever he works is an understatement. Besides being flexible, Dean is also dependable. Whether he is asked to work days or nights, he is always willing to do it. His traveling companion, Pickles, keeps him company on trips to the lake and trips back home to Arkansas to visit his wife and grandson. He is incredibly easy to work with and always ready with a friendly greeting when we call. We truly appreciate everything Dean has done for Aureus!

Julie has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Julie has been at her current assignment for the past six months. She has been described by others as thorough, insightful, and most importantly, friendly to all she comes in contact with. In addition to her positive attitude and excellent technical skills, Julie is always going above and beyond to help out the facility when she can. Several times during this assignment others in the department have had conflicts or scheduling issues and she has stepped up without hesitation and offered to switch to a less desirable shift or take extra call. Julie is a true asset to Aureus Medical.

Roberta C., Histotechnologist
Roberta (Bobbie) has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. Bobbie has been nothing but outstanding since day one! Not only has she worked seven assignments for Aureus, she has completed each one with exceptional performance reviews and managers phoning to say they wish she would never leave! On Bobbie’s last assignment, her supervising manager not only complimented her on her technical experience, but explained to her Account Manager that she also acted as an in-house counselor resolving many personality issues they were having in the lab. A couple of unhappy, grumpy employees transformed into happy-go-lucky, “excited to be at work” histologists – something the manager thought he would never see. She lightened the mood of the lab and boosted the morale. Bobbie is truly a role model for all Histotechs and an absolute joy to work with.

Sallie has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Sallie has been traveling with Aureus for over six years and has logged 12,282 hours. She defines dedication and loyalty. She is always positive when speaking with her Account Manager. Sallie provides great feedback on the hospital units she works with. Every hospital she has worked for has wanted to hire her on full-time. “Thank you for allowing Sallie to be part of our team. She fits in well with our team and needs little direction. Very professional individual and a joy to work with. Thank you!” and “I wish we had more nurses like Sallie” are just a couple of the comments we’ve heard from her supervisors. She always goes above and beyond and is a fantastic representative of the nursing profession.

Bev B., Respiratory Therapist
Bev is a welcome addition to respiratory departments wherever she goes – dedicated, loyal, and able to make everyone around her feel comfortable.  Since starting with Aureus in 2007, Bev has completed nine assignments.  She has been asked many times to extend, go full time, and come back for additional contracts. She is passionate about her career, recognizing the difference she makes in her patients’ lives.  She treats each as if they are members of her own family, bringing smiles to faces as she eases fears and helps them navigate the unknown. Bev has a very easy-going personality and is flexible, which makes her an ideal traveler.  She has a keen ability to fit into any environment, is extremely knowledge, and always goes above and beyond. Congratulations, Bev!

Mindy R., RN
Mindy says a career in the ER gives her an opportunity to help people when they need it most.  In a specialty that sees pain and suffering daily, she’s rewarded when she’s able to make tragic situations more tolerable for those she cares for.  Mindy has been traveling with Aureus since April 2006 and is a positive RN who exudes excellence. Her assignments have taken her to the deserts and beaches of California, the mountains of Oregon, and the plains of the Midwest. She dives right in wherever she lands, making memories and each time finding joy in discovering something new.  Working in a variety of climates and settings has allowed her to expand her clinical skills and her knowledge of disease processes and medical procedures.  She’s found that from facility to facility, each ER is unique, yet with the same fast pace and variety that draws her.  Congratulations, Mindy!

Nath’s supervisors rave about his dedication, work ethic, adaptability, and the smile he brings with him each day. Nath started with Aureus in 2007 and has worked eight assignments. and is a true professional. He’s worked his way across the country and back, from the great lakes of Michigan and to rural Nebraska and from scenic Oregon and historic Pennsylvania to the east coast of Delaware. He has received great evaluations from all of his managers. Nath has made true friends both here at Aureus and in the labs he’s worked. Congratulations, Nath!

For Penny, ultrasound is as much an art form as it is a medical test or procedure.  She’s an integral part of the diagnostic team.  And with multiple credentials and years of experience, she approaches each exam with a level confidence in her abilities that she hopes translates to her patients.  She wants them to know that they won’t receive a better exam with more precision than they will get from her.  Penny began traveling with Aureus in 2007. She always makes a big impact on our clients with her superior customer service skills and outstanding patient care. She is a true example of a loyal, ethical, hard working traveler and exemplifies everything we value as a company and in our Mission Statement. Congratulations, Penny!

Rebekah L., Physical Therapist Assistant
Rebekah has turned in consistently impressive job performances over the past five years with Aureus Medical. Currently on her 13th assignment, she has always received exceptional appraisals and displayed impressive loyalty. Her patients, she says, are her first priority, and she’s grateful for the knowledge and experience she’s gained from her travels that have allowed her to further develop her skills.  Rebekah’s patients sense the love she has for her job and the genuine concern she has for their well being, physically and emotionally. For Rebecca, her life personally and professionally, is just as she wants it to be yet she knows part of the joy comes from continually learning and growing.  Each day she strives to be a better therapist and human being than the day before, because, she says, giving is receiving. Congratulations, Rebekah!

Sonia has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Cardiopulmonary Division of Aureus Medical Group. Sonia has been with Aureus for only two years but has made a huge impact during that time. She has completed 3 assignments and is just starting her 4th after being at the last hospital for a year. Sonia has great clinical skills and is extremely hard working, but what sets her apart the most is her attitude. She has never complained about a hospital and will do whatever it takes to help out the lab when needed. Several times hospitals she used to work have asked when she will be available again and they rave about her work. Sonia has been a great asset to the Aureus Medical Group.

Penny H., Sonographer
Penny has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Penny has completed nine assignments for Aureus.  She always makes a big impact on our clients with her superior customer service skills and outstanding patient care.  She finished an assignment in March of this year, and the hospital was so impressed with her, they immediately asked her to commit to a maternity coverage that didn’t start for another 6+ months. Penny has been at her current assignment for 16 weeks and will not be extending. She went so far as to email me details of what I really need in finding her replacement. She told me what exams they did most of the time and what things were expected when on call. Penny is a true example of a loyal, ethical, hard working traveler and exemplifies everything we value as a company and in our Mission Statement.

Brian T., Phlebotomist
Brian has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. Brian is a leader in his field and sets the bar high for those who follow in his footsteps. He has completed five assignments for Aureus and has impressed the clients so much that he has been offered training responsibilities and other advanced opportunities, extensions, and permanent positions. Not only does he work for us, but he serves our country while on assignment and balances these responsibilities well. Brian stands out by going above and beyond the call of duty by helping out wherever he can be of assistance. He brings his disciplined background to each and every assignment. Brian strives to be the best at what he does and takes pride in working for and representing Aureus and our company’s mission statement.  He communicates well with his account managers and the client to help serve both to the best of his ability. His attitude is fantastic and he leaves an impression with the patients and coworkers.  Brian is our go-to person and we are honored to have him work for Aureus.

Mindy R., RN (ER)
Mindy has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Mindy has been traveling with Aureus since April 2006 and is a positive RN who exudes excellence. In her time with us she has completed 8 contracts and is on her way to her 9th. She has been working in Rolla, MO for the past 1 ½ years in a pretty hectic ER. Mindy kept a positive attitude throughout and was rewarded by being promoted to be a preceptor of the hospitals new hires. Mindy has since been promoted to the Day Charge nurse position and the hospital wants to bring her back full time after her she completes her next assignment. She is a true asset to the hospital and Aureus!

Rebecca S., Occupational Therapist
Rebecca has been awarded the honor of Employee of the Quarter for the Rehab Therapy Division of Aureus Medical Group. Rebecca is an excellent Occupational Therapist who is currently on her 8th assignment with us. She is always professional and able to adapt to many situations. In her current assignment, she has stepped in as a DOR while the current one was on vacation and performed without a hitch. Rebecca has not once complained about anything and instead continues to thank Aureus for everything. She is a great worker and her evaluations are indicative of this whether she is in a SNF environment or hospital. Rebecca is an all around excellent employee and a great representation of what Aureus stands for.
