AurElves Wrap Up

Aureus Medical’s AurElves were at it again this holiday season reaching out into the community delivering cheer, necessities, and wish-list items to people and organizations in need. The generosity and compassion shown through this program enabled countless people to experience a brighter holiday season than they would have otherwise. Take a look at how each division contributed to make the 2014 AurElves a success:

Nursing
Raised money for the Food Bank of the Heartland, donated funds to help families in need, donated gifts for Completely Kids, Project Harmony, Lydia House, and Open Door Mission, adopted seniors from the Visiting Nurse Association, and volunteered at YES, Salvation Army, and the Hope Center.

Rehab Therapy
Provided two nights of dinner to the Ronald McDonald House.

Cardio
Adopted a family from Big Brothers of the Midlands and a Veteran from the Open Door Mission, signed Christmas cards for military personnel, served a meal at the Siena Francis House, and rang bells for the Salvation Army.

Medical Laboratory
Served dinner at the Open Door Mission and collected more than 4,000 diapers for the Lydia House.

Advanced Practice
Adopted a child from Angels Among Us.

Diagnostic Imaging
Adopted a family from the Salvation Army and a child from Angels Among Us and donated time at Food Bank of the Heartland.
