Aureus Medical Honors Contract Employees of the Year

Our extraordinary employees are what make Aureus Medical Group one of the top healthcare staffing agencies in the nation! We honored our Contract Employees of the Year at a special recognition dinner held on September 25 in Omaha, Nebraska, home of our corporate headquarters. Congratulations to all of the winners!

Terry S. has been awarded the honor of 2013 Employee of the Year for the Medical Laboratory Division of Aureus Medical Group. He has continuously demonstrated his commitment to patient care while working for our clients. His dedication at every assignment has not only been recognized by laboratory directors and managers, but also by his peers in the lab. He is caring, compassionate, always in a good mood, and overall has a great attitude. Terry is the definition of a “superstar.” Terry represents Aureus with the utmost respect, professionalism, and courtesy towards patients and co-workers.

Catherine and Ryan T., Physical Therapist & Occupational Therapist

Catherine and Ryan T. have both been awarded the honor of 2013 Employees of the Year for the Rehab Therapy Division of Aureus Medical Group. They are a traveling couple and have worked 11 assignments with Aureus. They are now working in direct hire positions for one of our clients in North Carolina. On every assignment they have received outstanding reviews from our clients and have been ideal representatives of the Aureus mission. The Tourons work hard and treat their patients and colleagues with the upmost respect. They are an exceptional example of integrity and professionalism.

2013 Imaging EOY — Aureus Medical employee Chad M. with Imaging Employee of the Year, Karen C.

Karen C. has been awarded the honor of 2013 Employee of the Year for the Imaging Division of Aureus Medical Group. Karen has completed 15 assignments since 2008 for Aureus. She loves the great outdoors and has been on assignments in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska, just to name a few. She is an avid photographer and always sends us scenic pictures of her travels. Karen has always done an exceptional job and is often requested back by our clients, which is a great compliment for her. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and outgoing personality have solidified many relationships with our clients. She truly understands what it takes to be a great traveler and always represents herself and Aureus well.

2013 Nursing EOY — Aureus Medical employees Brandice P. (l) and Jim H. (r) with Nursing Employee of the Year, Eileen P.

Eileen P., RN (ER-ICU)

Eileen P. has been awarded the honor of 2013 Employee of the Year for the Nursing Division of Aureus Medical Group. Eileen has worked with Aureus since 2009. Since taking her first assignment she has successfully completed 14 contracts. Eileen is an asset to any facility, often working as the interim manager of the ICU or ER. There have been times when Eileen starts an assignment as a staff nurse and then when a management opportunity opens, the client asks her to move to that leadership role. She has the ability to make an immediate impact while on contract. For example, on her last assignment, after only being there for two weeks, the client said “she was the perfect hire.” Eileen has the ability to develop a great rapport with staff family and physicians. She is great to work with and is always positive, professional, and honest.

Jill W., Respiratory Therapist

Jill W. has been awarded the honor of 2013 Employee of the Year for the Cardiopulmonary Division of Aureus Medical Group. She has been employed with Aureus as a registered respiratory therapist since July 2010. Jill has worked for seven different hospitals during her tenure and has received glowing appraisals from each client. She was asked to extend multiple times while working in Billings, Montana. Jill is a true professional and has been a dedicated traveler for Aureus. Most recently, her account manager received a call from the respiratory manager in Sydney, Montana where Jill is working. He detailed, “Jill is always willing to go above and beyond. Jill is certainly a true asset and I look forward to working with her in the future.”
